Ed was born and grew up in the city of Sarnia. After he graduated from St. Patrick's High School he then went on to complete his Honours Business Administration degree from Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo Ontario and his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Western Ontario in 1983. Ed was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 1985.
Ed has been with George Murray Shipley Bell, LLP since 1990. He is a member of the Lambton Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
