Civil Litigation

Melanie was educated at St. Patrick's High School in Sarnia. She later graduated from McMaster University in 1992 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Melanie obtained her LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1995 and was called to the bar in 1997. She maintains a relatively general practice, with an emphasis on civil litigation. As a litigation associate, Melanie works closely with the senior lawyers in the estate, personal injury, and labour law areas.

Melanie is active in professional associations, including the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Melanie is also involved in community organizations. She is on the Board of Sarnia-Lambton Crimestoppers and is an Executive Member of the Sarnia-Lambton Federal Liberal Association.
