Wayne grew up in Sarnia where he attended Northern Collegiate. He graduated form the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Bar in 1976. Wayne has practiced with the firm his entire career and thus had an opportunity to work with and learn from many fine lawyers.

Over the years he has enjoyed the experience of dealing with several generations of many families for whom he has prepared simple wills, purchased homes or dealt with the estates of loved ones. On the commercial side he has been able to work with many family businesses from their inception to their development into substantial companies, and has been fortunate to meet and work with many different people in the National and Multi National Corporations.

Wayne and his wife Mary have three children, Cameron, Meghan and Brad.

Wayne has been active over the years in the community and was proud to receive in 1997, the Centennial Award from VON Canada for volunteer work.
